Dr Katherine YAU
Dr Katherine YAU has been involved in education in the last thirty five years , up till the present . Her passion and vision to help educate the young people has never diminished : from early childhood to upper secondary ,and even to the tertiary levels .
Dr Yau believes that the basic human values are central to the well being of a family , an organisation , a community and the society as a whole . And MUTUAL RESPECT is the key to the peace , harmony and existence of any organisation .
A graduate of the Sydney University, Dr Yau continued her pursuit and research in education , with a Masters and Ph D in education.
Besides education , Dr Yau’s strong interest in music leads her to set up a non-profit social enterprise called ” Friends of the Harp ” with friends who share the same vision and mission of helping children and retired people to learn and appreciate music through learning to play the harp .
Dr Yau and her family members are all playing the harp. This is what makes life beautiful and harmonious !!
