‘Golden GO’ Programme Series: ‘Golden Shooter’
Airsoft Shooting: Challenge Yourself, Break Your Limits
As society increasingly focuses on the health and quality of life of older adults,the 'Golden GO' programme is introducing a unique emerging sport – Airsoft Shooting (IPSC) training classes. These classes allow participants to learn how to use an air rifle from scratch and engage in IPSC competitive shooting, enjoying the fun of this sport.
What is Airsoft Shooting (IPSC)?
Airsoft Shooting (IPSC, International Practical Shooting Confederation) is a sport that combines shooting skills, strategic thinking, and physical fitness. Participants must quickly and accurately hit targets in various scenarios, with scores based on accuracy and speed. This sport tests not only shooting skills but also mental resilience, making it suitable for shooting enthusiasts of all ages.

Details of the Airsoft Shooting (IPSC) Training Class
The training class lasts for six months and includes four shooting training sessions each month, one fun interactive shooting day, and one scenario design training or family fun day. At the end of June, there will be a graduation shooting competition for participants to assess their learning outcomes.
Dates: January to June 2025
Location: Ngau Tau Kok, Five Fang Street
Target Audience: Individuals aged 45 and above
Number of Participants: 15-20 people
Fee: HKD 9,480 (monthly fee of HKD 1,580), plus an additional equipment fee of HKD 1,000 for the first month
Requirements to Become a 'Golden Shooter'
- Individuals aged 45 and above
- No prior professional training as a shooter
- No surgeries in the past year
- No heart disease
- Good health status (including no heart disease, no chronic chest pain, no dizziness, loss of balance, or loss of consciousness in the past three months, and healthy skeletal joints, such as spine, knees, hips, etc.)
