新冠疫情大流行急速改變了我們的生活、工作和彼此間的關係。香港和其他亞洲城市一樣,都面臨人口老化引發各種問題的挑戰。我們迫切需要新思維,也需要推行可持久和包容的解決方案。這節研討會由來自公私營機構的領導分享他們的願景、策略,以及他們面對的挑戰,並為目前社會的改革提出建議。

- Mr Kenneth CHAN Chi-yuk
Chairman, The Elderly Services Association of Hong Kong
Mr Kenneth CHAN is the Chairman of The Elderly Services Association of Hong Kong (TESA). Mr Chan had committed to the enhancement of elderly welfare for over twenty years, and held a number of public service positions throughout the years. Mr Chan was appointed as a member of the Elderly Commission from 2005 to 2011. Activity involved in the quality advancement of local elderly service, Mr Chan had led his team of professions in direct service and contributed to implementing the diversified service model on community support and residential care all over Hong Kong.

- Mr Alfred CHEUNG
Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Sales Officer, BOC Group Life Assurance Company Limited
Mr Alfred CHEUNG is currently working in BOC Group Life Assurance Company Limited (BOC Life) as Deputy Chief Executive, responsible for overall business development of the company. He is leading all distribution channels including bancassurance, tied agency, brokerage as well as business partnership. Prior to that, Alfred was Appointed Actuary of BOC Life, responsible for product pricing and valuation, asset and liability management, and risk management related to actuarial and financials.
Alfred is serving the Life Insurance Council of the Hong Kong Federation of Insurers (HKFI) as Chairman of InsuTech Task force. He also has participated in various committees and taskforces of the HKFI, advising the development of Qualifying Deferred Annuity Policy and the review of Financial Needs Analysis. He is appointed as a Mentor of Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation to provide professional advice and guidance. Alfred graduated from the University of Hong Kong in Actuarial Science and he received an EMBA degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Executive Director and CEO, Chinachem Group
Donald CHOI joined the Group in 2018 as Executive Director and the Chief Executive Officer of Chinachem Group. He has over 30 years of management experience across property development and worked as a professional architect globally.

- Dr the Hon LAM Ching-choi, SBS, JP
Member of the Executive Council
Dr. LAM Ching-choi is a specialist in pediatric and community medicine and is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Haven of Hope Christian Service. Under his leadership, Haven of Hope Christian Service is one of the pioneers in the provision of holistic care for the elderly in Hong Kong. He is a non-official member of the Executive Council of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Supervisory Board Member of the HK Housing Society to advise the Government on the different policies. Dr. Lam has been honored by the HKSAR Government with the Justice of Peace in 2003 and Silver Bauhinia Star in 2019 respectively. In 2018, apart from receiving Honorary Fellowship from Lingnan University, he was also given the Ageing Asia Global Ageing Influencer Award (Special Recognitions) for his devotion to public services and his influence on policy-making for the global ageing trend.

Head, Healthcare & Social Development, Our Hong Kong Foundation
Dr Pamela TIN received her PhD from the School of Public Health at The University of Hong Kong. With experience in both academic and public policy research, she is dedicated to improving health and social policies through research and advocacy to promote the holistic wellbeing of all persons in society. Pam and her team at OHKF have published high-profile policy papers on various topics ranging from primary healthcare, health workforce to health resource allocation that have put forward recommendations adopted by the government. Notably, the policy paper 'Fit for Purpose: A Health System for the 21st Century' published in November 2018 was named 'Best Policy Study/Report Produced by a Think Tank' by the University of Pennsylvania Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program '2019 Global Go To Think Tank Index'.
