Ms Sherlynn CHAN is a seasoned family lawyer and currently oversees the Family Law and Vulnerable Client practice at Deacons. Ms. Chan is a leading lawyer in mental capacity law and authored the book “A Practical Guide to Mental Health Law in Hong Kong”. Ms. Chan chairs the Mental Health Law Committee of the Law Society of Hong Kong, co-chairs the Mental Health, Capacity and Elder Law sub-committee of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and is a founding member and chairperson of MIP Care Resource Connect.

Dr Jess LEUNG is a psychiatrist, subspecialized in late-age mental health. Her expertise includes dementia, delirium, elderly depression and mental capacity related medical-legal issues. She is ex-committee member of Guardianship Board of Hong Kong, founder member of MIP Care Resources Connect and honorary clinical assistant professor of HKU and CUHK.

- Ms Hazel WONG

Ms. Hazel Wong has a strong interest and experience in vulnerable client matters and her commercial law experiences provides an additional dimension and approach to her work. She has provided legal advisory work to committees, as well as making applications under Part II of the Mental Health Ordinance, managing financial affairs of mentally incapacitated persons in Hong Kong and overseas. She also handles wealth and succession planning matters, contentious probate and trust matters and advises charities and philanthropy work. She is currently a member of the General Committee of MIP Care Resources Connect.

Professor Teresa TSIEN is an Adjunct Professor of the Department of Social Science, The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, Visiting Professor of the Respati University of Indonesia, an Honorary Consultant of the Institute of Active Ageing, Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPU). Teresa is the former Professor of Practice (Gerontology) of the Department of Applied Social Sciences and the Founding Director of the Institute of Active Ageing of the HKPU. Teresa has conducted research and published numerous articles and papers on social work and ageing, active ageing, gerontechnology, age-friendly city and dementia caregiving. She is currently appointed to various Hong Kong government and NGO boards as board member and advisor to 10 welfare agencies. Teresa is an Executive Committee member and Hong Kong representative of ACAP (Active Ageing Consortium in Asia Pacific) since 2013.
