Golden Age Expo and Summit (GAES) is Hong Kong’s first transformative event and interactive collaboration platform dedicated to addressing the challenges of population ageing. The all-in-one event exhibits the latest technologies, innovative products, and services for the golden generation, while convening influential thinkers and leaders from diverse industries worldwide to share innovative ideas and experiences related to ageing.
Launched in 2016, the Expo & Summit advocates cross-sector collaboration. Leaders and experts from business, government, academia, social organizations, and the digital industry come together to share forward-looking perspectives and jointly tackle the challenges of an ageing population and workforce shortages. The event inspires the golden generation to become a driving force for social innovation and promotes the development of smart ageing cities across Asia.
The three-day event recorded over 20,000 visitors, registering a 87% over that of last year.
The Expo assembled over 100 booths, showcasing thousands of products and services from Hong Kong and around the world. The Summit gathered over 80 renowned international and local speakers to discuss and explore innovative ways of building Hong Kong and other Asian areas into 'Smart Ageing Cities'.
