Abstract
Financial wellness is a lifelong journey that empowers individuals to build resilience, security, and confidence across every stage of life. By promoting forward-looking financial planning and informed decision-making, this session highlights the importance of sustainable strategies that support long-term wellbeing and future readiness.
Keynote Speaker
Mr Alfred CHEUNG
Deputy Chief Executive & Chief Sales Officer, BOC Life
Alfred Cheung is currently the Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Sales Officer in BOC Group Life Assurance Company Limited (BOC Life), where he oversees overall business development. He leads all distribution channels including bancassurance, tied agency and brokerage as well as business partnerships. Prior to this, Alfred was the Appointed Actuary of BOC Life, responsible for product pricing and valuation, asset-liability management, and actuarial and financial risk management.
Alfred serves as Chairman of the Life Insurance Council (LIC) and a Governing Committee (GC) Member of HKFI. He also serves as Convenor of Sub-Committee on API and E-KYC under the InsurTech Task Force, a member of the Professional Standards Working Group and the Special Working Group on IA’s Proposed Enhances Measures for Participating Policies of LIC. Additionally, he is a member of the Task Force on Greater China Affairs of GC.
Alfred is a mentor for the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) and the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) MBA program. He holds a degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Hong Kong and an EMBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Mr Dicky CHOW
Assistant Research Director, Head of Healthcare & Social Innovation, Our Hong Kong Foundation
Dicky Chow is the Assistant Research Director and Head of Healthcare & Social Innovation at Our Hong Kong Foundation, where he leads research on healthcare systems, healthy ageing and social development. His research areas cover primary care, mental health, Chinese medicine, eldercare and end-of-life care, with a strong emphasis on person-centred and integrated care. A recognised thought leader, he advocates shifting care from hospital to community through approaches such as social prescribing, cross-sector collaboration and system thinking.
Dicky speaks at international and regional forums, including conferences on ageing, mental health and social prescribing, sharing Hong Kong’s experience in building age-friendly and inclusive health systems. In Hong Kong, he delivers guest lectures at universities on topics ranging from healthy ageing and end-of-life care to ESG and social impact assessment. His work and commentary are featured in major media and professional platforms, helping connect frontline practice, community voices and policy development.
Deeply engaged with the community, Dicky serves on grant-making committees, advises academic programmes and sits on the Organising Committee of the Hong Kong Social Enterprise Summit, where he helps bridge social innovation, philanthropy and public policy. Recent examples of his work include advising on caregiver support initiatives, contributing to strategies for GBA eldercare, and championing “ageing in place” solutions that integrate housing, health and social care.
Dicky is a Salzburg Global Fellow in the inaugural Asia Policy Leadership Forum. He holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Law and Business Administration from the University of Hong Kong and a Master’s degree in Psychology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Guided by a strong sense of purpose and commitment to the Greater Good, Ms. Lau now focuses on advancing corporate governance, sustainability, financial and retirement protection, community wellbeing, and reinforcing Hong Kong’s role as a premier international financial centre. She also serves as Vice Chairman of the Asian Corporate Governance Association, Independent Non-Executive Director of Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited, Chairman of the Hospital Authority MPF Supervisory Committee, and Trustee of the Hospital Authority Charitable Foundation.

Sindy is the Head of Innovation and Partnerships at the Investor and Financial Education Council (IFEC) in Hong Kong, China, championing innovation and partnerships to drive investor and financial education, to effectively deliver priorities established in IFEC’s business strategy.
Sindy possesses over 20 years of extensive experience in the fields of partnership marketing, sustainability, education and community investment, with the objective to drive positive changes for the community. She leads the team in integrating innovation and digital strategy into gamification tools and resources for the investor and financial education programmes. Through collaboration with stakeholders from schools, corporate and non-governmental organisations, she strives to contribute in advancing the financial literacy for the students, seniors, working adults and vulnerable group.
The Investor and Financial Education Council (IFEC) is an independent public organisation and a subsidiary of the Securities and Futures Commission SFC), dedicated to improving investor and financial education in Hong Kong. The IFEC is supported by the four financial regulators and the Education Bureau. The IFEC promotes free and impartial investor and financial education messages to target audiences through its “IFEC Chin Family”. It also leads the Financial Literacy Strategy to facilitate stakeholders to deliver more quality investor
and financial education to the Hong Kong public.

She is a member of the Airport Transport Licensing Authority, a panel member of the Resolution Compensation Tribunal, and a panel member of the Film Censorship Advisers. Additionally, Jasmine is the Vice President and Honorary Secretary of the Association of Women Accountants. She also holds Council Member positions at the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the SMART Accountants Association, and the Hong Kong Management Association.
