The Focus on Seven Smart Ageing Topics and the Advocacy of Comprehensive Strategies for Golden Age Economy

According to the population projection of the Census and Statistics Department, the proportion of population aged 65 and above will gradually rise from 20.8% in 2022 to 25.3% in 2028. The continuous increase in the number of elderly people will boost demand for various elderly care and medical services. However, ageing also brings many opportunities. As a cross-sector innovative collaboration platform, the Golden Age Foundation not only plays a leading role in innovative thinking to actively respond to the challenges brought about by population ageing, but also utilizes the chance to promote and facilitate the new golden age economy to turn crises into opportunities.

The Golden Age Foundation has invited industry pioneers, experts and government officials to communicate, explain and respond to the needs of an ageing society in the summit on seven hot topics of smart ageing, including the golden age economy (business and finance), the sustainable development of healthcare professionals, smart ageing technology, elderly diet as well as elderly services, elderly housing and elderly care in the Greater Bay Area. They will also share their visions and insights on the promotion of smart ageing reforms and highlight the great opportunities the latest technological developments bring to the promotion and reform of the smart ageing concept.
