Cancer Management and Palliative Care

Abstract

“SUPPORT+” is an initiative of the Department of Clinical Oncology, LKS Faculty of Medicine of HKU. “SUPPORT+” aims to support cancer patients and their families in the local community – in the form of a mobile app.

“+” can literally mean ‘families’, ‘positivity’, and ‘extra’ in Chinese. “SUPPORT+” aims to support cancer patients and their families by

• helping them live positively even with cancer diagnosis,
• positively influencing their course of illness.
• letting them have extra resources at their disposal.
