Ecosystem of Developing Innovative Technology
Abstract: Technology has become an indispensable part of smart ageing. Yet, older adults are the least adept with technology. There are a lot of missing links in the entire ecosystem. Technological advancement requires the dedication and collaboration of different links in the ecosystem including the public sector, private corporates, and investors. Leaders in these fields will share how they play a critical role in developing a collaborative ecosystem that may enhance innovative smart ageing technology.

Mr. Kelvin Chan joined NEC Hong Kong Limited since 2006. Being an Assistant General Manager, Kelvin offers Innovative Smart City capabilities for delivering better efficiency and safety business possibilities.
Kelvin graduated from Edinburgh Napier University in 2023 with a Master’s Degree in Business Management (Leadership and Innovation) and McMaster University in 2003 with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Economics, and he has over 18 years of IT related experience.
Kelvin’s broad exposure covers Artificial Intelligence (AI), Biometrics and System Integration, and he is experienced in mega projects in both Hong Kong and Macau market. Kelvin is a powerful force in the workplace and uses his positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to perform and succeed.

Mr David FONG, BBS, JP
Managing Director, Hip Shing Hong (Holdings) Co Ltd
Mr. David Fong, BBS, JP is the Managing Director of Hip Shing Hong (Holdings) Company Limited. Mr. Fong obtained a Master degree in Business Administration from The University of Hong Kong, an Honorary Fellow of City University of Hong Kong and an Honorary Fellow of The University of Science and Technology.
Mr. Fong is currently a National Committee Member of CPPCC, an Honorary Trustee of Peking University and a member of the Board of Trustee of Jinan University. Mr. Fong is also Life Honorary Chairman of The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, Court Member of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Advisor of Our Hong Kong Foundation and Executive Council Member & Trustee of WWF Hong Kong.

Mr Simon K Y Wong, MH, FCILT
Chief Executive Officer, Logistics and Supply Chain MultiTech R&D Centre (LSCM)
Mr Simon K Y Wong is the Chief Executive Officer of LSCM. He has more than 30 years of working experience in the commercial sector. Before joining LSCM in 2011, Mr Wong held a number of technology development and management positions in Hong Kong and Taiwan: General Electric Company and Johnson Electric. Simon is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (FCILT), and he was awarded a Medal of Honour in 2020 in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the community.
