Ming Hui KO has dedicated years of service to community development and the promotion of time banking. After retirement, she became an honourary advisor for the "Weaving of Wellness" time banking project and founded the Blessing Community Action Platform. Through advocating and supporting sustainable time banking, Ko aims to establish a compassionate and mutually supportive community, allowing the elderly to age in place with autonomy and dignity.

In her commitment to community service, Kathy LI advocates for community work and building a considerate society through writing and images as well as mutual learning and collaboration. The scope of her community work includes place-making , community development, local history and cultural conservation, environmental protection and grassroots education.
