Abstract
No matter how much money Hong Kong invests in creating new products and services, to achieve ageing in place, the elders or their caregivers must first solve the issues of “not knowing”, “don’t know how”, “not wanting”, “not able to reach physically”, “not able to reach physically”, “not having the right people to talk to”; and “worry about not having money to pay”. The speaker will propose a scalable, sustainable and proven solution.

Simon served in Cisco Systems from engineer to senior management positions for 25 years. He is the caregiver of three 80+ elders; has more than 20 years of voluntary work experience with the elderly. He and registered social worker Ms. Mary Yan founded social enterprise Amazing Grace Care Service to provide home-based elderly care services assistance to caregivers in all 18 Hong Kong districts. At the same time, it opens opportunities for people aged 50+ to develop new skills, show off their personal talents and contribute to the community.
