The 8th Golden Age Expo and Summit (2023) is themed "Transform with Agility", concluded successfully at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in mid-August (11-13). With a fabulous closing ceremony to complete the event, a huge thank you to our major sponsors and supporting organizations, the public’s enthusiastic participation, as well as our dedicated volunteers and team members. This year’s attendance exceeded over 22,000 people –the highest attendance record we’ve had since the pandemic began three years ago!!! Attendees came from all over the world, including the UK, Taiwan, Singapore, Australia, Macau, the US, Thailand, South Korea, Canada, Japan, Nepal, India and more.
This year, we gathered 100 stellar local and overseas speakers as they spoke at a series of successive talks during the summit, discussing the latest smart ageing topics. The expo section featured 130 booths and four special exhibition zones, allowing expo members to promote the latest smart ageing products, services and solutions from all over the world. At the Smart Ageing Zone, attendees also enjoyed 20 informative yet entertaining demonstrations, performance and sharing sessions.
Once again, we’d like to thank all attendees, guests and speakers for their participation, and major sponsors, partners and supporting organizations who contributed to and promoted GAES 2023. We would also like to thank over 200 volunteers for their generous dedication to helping us transform Hong Kong into Asia’s Smart Ageing City!
