Professional Award Categories
The "Smart Ageing Award 2026" encompasses eight professional categories, recognizing organizations and projects that demonstrate excellence in the field of smart ageing.

| 4. Smart Ageing Technology | Innovative technology, AI, health monitoring, assistive devices, digital inclusion, etc. |
| 5. Medical and Health | Elderly healthcare, rehabilitation, preventive care, mental health, etc. |
| 6. Lifestyle & Fashion | Silver-age fashion, lifestyle, travel, leisure, dining, etc. |
| 7. Marketing | Branding, marketing, and product design targeting the "Golden Age" market, etc. |
| 8. ESG & Sustainability | Smart-ageing-friendly projects related to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria. |
GRAND AWARDS
Annual Grand Awards
Three Grand Awards are contested by the shortlisted organizations across all professional award categories. Shortlisted organizations are eligible to win both a professional award and a Grand Award.

ELIGIBILITY
Eligibility
- Enterprises, social enterprises, non-profit organizations, government and quasi-governmental bodies, and start-ups from Hong Kong and around the world are welcome to participate.
- The entry project must have been implemented, or have achieved significant results, between 1 January 2025 and 31 August 2026.
- Applications may be submitted in either Chinese or English.
PROCESS
Selection Process
On or before 30 October 2026Submission of application forms and supporting documents.
Early NovemberDocument review and eligibility verification.
Mid-NovemberPreliminary selection by the judging panel to determine the shortlist.
Mid-NovemberAnnouncement of the shortlist and commencement of public voting (affecting only the "Most Popular Award").
Late NovemberFinal selection by the judging panel to determine the winners of the professional awards.
12 DecemberAnnouncement of winners and presentation of awards at the ceremony.

Submit Application
- Step 1: Complete the online form and submit basic entry details to confirm eligibility.
- Step 2: Download the "Application Information Sheet," fill it out, and email it to saa2026@goldenage.foundation.
- Deadline: October 30, 2026
- There is no fee for registration or participation.

Important Notice
Shortlisted candidates must attend the award presentation ceremony on 12 December 2026 and select one of the shortlisted packages (starting from HK$8,000). The Award Secretariat will notify candidates separately regarding the details and arrangements for these packages.
