Abstract
The Closing Forum celebrates a defining moment of reflection, connection, and shared achievement. As we look back on the journey and forward to new possibilities, this Golden Chapter marks the beginning of continued collaboration, inspiration, and impact.

Dr Chung encourages continuing education and lifelong learning, and he holds a Doctorate Degree of Engineering from the University of Warwick, UK, and a Doctorate Degree of Business Administration from the City University of Macau. He was awarded Honorary Doctor by the University of Newcastle, Australia, Honorary Doctor of Business Administration by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Honorary Doctor of Business Administration by the Lingnan University, Honorary Doctor of Science by the University of Warwick, UK, Doctor of Business Administration honoris causa by the University of Macau, Honorary Doctor of Business Administration by the City University of Hong Kong, Doctor of Business Administration, honoris causa by the Hong Kong Metropolitan University, and Doctor of Social Science honoris causa by the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. He has also been appointed as an Industrial Professor by the University of Warwick, UK, since 2010, and elected as an Honorary Fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers in April 2026.
Dr Chung was awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star (GBS) and Bronze Bauhinia Star (BBS) by the Hong Kong SAR Government in 2017 and 2011 respectively. He was also appointed as Justice of Peace by the Hong Kong SAR Government in 2005. In 1997, he was awarded the Young Industrialist Awards of Hong Kong and was further awarded Industrialist of the Year in 2014.
Dr Chung has served extensively in public and community services and is highly dedicated to the advancement of the industry and youth development. He is a Board Member of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority and Chairman of the Standing Committee on Youth Skills Competition. He was Chairman of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries from 2011 to 2013 and currently its Honorary President. He was also Chairman of Vocational Training Council, President and Chairman of The Boys' & Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong, and Court Chairman and Deputy Council Chairman of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Mr Cheung has served as Senior Adviser to the CEO of Hang Seng Bank after retiring from the Bank as its founding Head of Communications and Corporate Sustainability and a Member of the Executive Committee. His communication and management achievements have been recognized with more than 100 Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland and international awards, including Distinguished PR Professional of the Year; and Best General Reporter by the Newspaper Society of Hong Kong. He has been active in serving professional and community organisations -- the Golden Age Foundation; the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council; the Hong Kong Management Association; the Community Chest of Hong Kong; the Hong Kong Federation of Journalists; and the China International Public Relations Association.
Previously, he was Member of University of Hong Kong’s MBA Advisory Board; Chairman of Chinese University Journalism & Communication Alumni Association; and Chairman of Baptist University School of Communication Advisory Committee. Walter has always been enthusiastic about marathon races and he has completed 140 full marathons in six continents, including the eight World Marathon Majors. He was the first Hong Kong person to have run the Everest Marathon – the highest marathon in the world.

Donald currently serves as the Deputy Chairman and Managing Director of the Urban Renewal Authority (URA), Hong Kong. Prior to leading the URA, he was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Chinachem Group and the Managing Director at Nan Fung Group as well as a Director at Foster and Partners.
With over 40 years of experience in architecture and urban development, he has made significant contributions to the field. Donald is a strong advocate for people-centric design, believing that thoughtful architecture can greatly enhance the quality of life for communities. Throughout his illustrious career, he has received numerous prestigious awards, recognizing his leadership and innovation in the industry. Herman Chan is the co-founder of Eldpathy, an organization that promotes understanding between the older and younger generations. Having been raised by his grandparents, Herman is deeply committed to improving the livelihood of the elderly in Hong Kong and promoting empathy for senior citizens.
Witnessing first-hand the gap between generations in today’s society, Herman set up Eldpathy, the purpose of which is to develop young people’s understanding towards seniors. Eldpathy also advocates “active ageing” by recruiting elderly instructors for their Elderly Simulation Programmes. Since 2012, Eldpathy has organised over 800 activities with 30,000 participants experiencing how life changes with ageing through the Elderly Simulation Programmes. Around 30 elderly instructors were trained to interact with the young participants to enhance mutual understanding.
