Mr Ivan LEE has over 30 years’ experience in the gas industry in the areas of customer services, marketing & sales and product development. He is currently the General Manager – Residential Product & Quality of The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited, in charge of residential gas appliances and metering system development and product quality control. Mr. Lee has specialized in the smart meter and smart appliance development with the application of IOT technology in recent years. He is a Chartered Engineer of the Institution of Gas Engineers & Managers (IGEM) and a Corporate Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Engineers (HKIE). He is the current member of the Gas Safety Advisory Committee of the HKSAR.

After earning three Bachelor degrees and a Master degree in Computer Engineering, and working as a programmer for 4 years in USA, Mr Roy LIM Long Hei returned in 2011 to join Tung Hing Automation. Mr Lim has also developed two new initiatives, including medical automation and service automation. Mr Lim collaborated with a neuro-scientist from Poly U and developed a made-in-Hong-Kong product called HandyRehab, which is a robotic hand that is capable of rehabilitating stroke patients and recovering 90% of their mobility. Mr Lim has also collaborated with AGV robot companies to develop a line of products capable of self-navigation. The functions of these robots include hotel delivery, floor cleaning and scrubbing, mobile entertainment and elderly care services.

Mr Kenny SHUI Chi-wai is specialising in the research areas of Economic Analysis and Development, and Innovation and Technology. He was also the main author of the Gerontechnology Landscape Report and “Building an Age-Friendly City – Embedding Gerontechnology Into Everyday Life” Report as well as was a key collaborator with UNESCAP in publishing the first Asia-focused gerontechnology report.

Ms Elsa WONG is Managing Director of NEC Hong Kong Limited (NECHK), a leading ICT company in providing one-stop solutions/services for biometric, AI technologies, public safety, smart transportation, cloud computing, cyber security, network infrastructure as well as various I.T. products. Ms. Elsa joined NECHK in 1999 and was promoted through the ranks to Managing Director and the Global Head of “Centre of Excellence” for Smart Transportation. She was engaged in development of various high-end I.T. solutions and was recognized as a high-potential IT executive. She provided pivotal leadership from bringing concepts to deliverable and acquired high reputation from I.T. market, and her strong will in innovating new values for human society is further recognized.

Dr Edward LEUNG graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong in 1979. He actively promotes the development of geriatric medicine and gerontology in Hong Kong. He has served as a member of the Hong Kong Geriatrics Society, the President of the Hong Kong Association of Gerontology, and the President of The Hong Kong Continence Society etc. After retiring from the Hospital Authority, Dr. Leung took over as Director of the Generiatric Medicine Centre (Healthy Ageing) of Hong Kong Sanatorium and Hospital, pioneering the provision of elderly care in private medical institutions. He founded the Hong Kong Institute of Gerontology in 2001 and launched the Residential Aged Care Accreditation Scheme in 2005 to improve the quality of residential care homes. Since 2008, Dr. Leung has been researching and developing hospice care services for the elderly. As a result of Dr. Leung’s advocacy, the Hong Kong Association of Gerontology was awarded a three-year grant from the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust for the Hospice in Care program.
