To drive the development of the smart ageing in Asia, Golden Age Foundation organised the "Smart Ageing Leader Award 2024". The aim is to recognise outstanding leaders who have made pioneering contributions in the fields of elderly care, sustainable development, and public-private partnership, and to encourage professionals and entrepreneurs from all sectors to devise innovative initiatives to reshape the future of the golden age generation. It also aims to let the public know more about the latest samrt ageing products, research, technology, and applications, and to envision a better golden age together.
"Smart Ageing Leader Award 2024" presentation ceremony was successfully held on the evening of August 3, 2024 during the "Gala Dinner". The ceremony invited Dr. William Smith, Chair, NGO Committee on Ageing at the United Nations in New York, Mr. Chris Sun, Secretary for Labour and Welfare, and Ms. Ho, Secretary for Housing, as well as 300 guests, to witness the important moment of the winners and affirm their efforts and achievements.
This year's awards ceremony had a total of 19 winners, divided into 3 categories and 8 professional fields (including medical, healthcare, dining, living, mobility, academic, technology, and innovation).
