Abstract
The Summit envisions a future where innovation and collaboration redefine ageing. By connecting diverse sectors and perspectives, it serves as a catalyst for bold ideas, meaningful partnerships, and co-created solutions that empower individuals and communities to thrive in an evolving society.
Keynote Speaker
Mr CHOW Vee Tsung, Oscar
Executive Director and Vice Chairman, Chevalier Group
Mr Oscar Chow is an Executive Director and the Vice Chairman of the Chevalier Group. He is responsible for the planning, formulation, and execution of the Group’s corporate strategies, as well as overseeing its financial and risk management functions. He is also the Managing Director of Polaris Holdings Limited, an investment holding and management company.
Mr Chow holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. He is the Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Hong Kong and currently the Chairman of Hong Kong Bahrain Business Association, taking an active role in fostering bilateral relations.
Mr Chow contributes to various professional and community organisations. He is a General Committee Member of The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong, a Honorary Member of the Court of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and a member of the Fifth-term Election Committee of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. He also serves as Honorary Secretary of the Council of the Hong Kong, China Tennis Association.

Dr George MARGELIS
Chief Technology Officer, Ageing Australia
Dr George Margelis is a medical practitioner who has been deeply involved in technology for the last 30 years.
He was Chief Information Officer (CIO) of a private hospital group as well as managing an innovative software development team that produced a number of online health applications. He also acted as senior adviser to HIMSS, the international peak body for health technology and as Asia Pacific chair of the Continua Alliance.
In 2013 he was appointed an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Western Sydney with the TeleHealth Research & Innovation Laboratory (THRIL). In 2014 he was appointed to the IT in Aged Care Hall of Fame for his work in the use of technology in aged care. He was CXIO Ambassador for HISA in 2018 and has been involved in a range of health technology companies. In 2019 he was appointed independent chair of the Aged Care Industry Information Technology Council. In 2024 he was appointed Chief Technology Advisor for the Aged & Community Care Provider Association.
George also acts as a Digital Health Advisor with the Australian Digital Health Agency as well as a member of the Advancing Aged Care through Digital Health advisory group for the Digital Health Cooperative Research Centre. He is a board member of Multicultural Care, a home care provider for the CALD community. He is also the Australian ambassador for the Global Health Connector.

Ms Karen NGUI
Head of DBS Foundation
Karen Ngui is Managing Director and Head of DBS Foundation, where she leads the bank’s efforts to create impact beyond banking by supporting vulnerable communities with essential needs, fostering financial inclusion and advancing purpose-driven businesses across Asia.
She was instrumental in establishing DBS Foundation in 2014 and has since guided its evolution into a leading platform for social innovation and collective action, catalysing the growth of social enterprises and driving interventions to deepen the social and financial resilience of vulnerable communities. She also oversees DBS People of Purpose, the bank’s employee volunteerism movement.
With ageing societies becoming an increasingly urgent concern, Karen’s also steering DBS Foundation’s efforts to redefine ageing and help shape a future where all can age with dignity, purpose and agency.
With more than 35 years of experience in the financial services sector, Karen brings deep expertise in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, brand and reputation management, and purpose-led leadership.

Mr Wilson TANG Chee Ping
Chief Executive, BOC Group Life Assurance Company Limited
Mr. Wilson Tang is the Chief Executive of BOC Group Life Assurance Company Limited (“BOC Life”) responsible for driving the company’s business roadmap and growth strategy. He brings more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry and has held various leadership positions. Prior to joining BOC Life, Mr. Tang was the Head of Insurance at Hang Seng Bank, CEO and Director of Hang Seng Insurance Company Limited where he led the life insurance, general insurance, medical insurance and MPF businesses. Earlier in his career, he held a number of senior positions at HSBC Insurance in China, including Chief Actuary, Head of Investment, Director and Chairman of the Asset and Liabilities Committee, demonstrated strong cross-functional leadership.
Mr. Tang is actively engaged in the insurance industry and public service. He is a current non-official member of the Industry Advisory Committee on Long Term Business to Insurance Authority, a member of the General Committee and the Chairman (Insurance Group) of Employers’ Federation of Hong Kong, the member of the Hong Kong Management Association Insurance Management Committee, the committee member of the 2021 Election Committee Subsector Ordinary Election (Insurance), Council Member of the Golden Age Foundation as well as a member of the Hospital Governing Committee of Shatin Hospital of the Hospital Authority.

Professor FUNG Hong is currently Professor of Practice at the Jockey Club School of Public Health & Primary Care (JCSPHPC), The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). He is also Honorary Clinical Professor at the School of Public Health, The University of Hong Kong.
Professor Fung was the Executive Director and founding Chief Executive Officer of the CUHK Medical Centre (CUHKMC), a private teaching hospital wholly owned by CUHK, from 2015 until his retirement in July 2025. Before he joined CUHK in 2014, Professor Fung was Cluster Chief Executive of the New Territories East Cluster and Hospital Chief Executive of the Prince of Wales Hospital at the Hospital Authority (HA) from 2002 to 2013. He was President of the Hong Kong College of Community Medicine in 2014-2018.
Professor Fung is well recognized for his expertise in medical leadership, health services management, healthcare planning, and health informatics. His main research and teaching interests are on health policy and healthcare financing. In December 2024, Professor Fung was appointed by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government to as Non-executive Director of the Hong Kong Insurance Authority, which he serves till now.
