Dr Hong-Jae Park
Lecturer, Western Sydney University
Dr Hong-Jae Park is a Lecturer of School of Social Sciences and Psychology at Western Sydney University in Penrith, New South Wales, Australia. His area of research and practice focuses on gerontological concerns, migrant and diaspora issues, and cross-cultural practice in social work and human services. He has published a range of articles and book chapters, and presented widely at national and international conferences.
Dr Tri Budi RAHARDJO
Director, Centre for Ageing Studies of Universitas Indonesia
Tri Budi W. Rahardjo is Professor in Gerontology at Universitas Indonesia, Indonesia. Since March 2010 she has also been the Director of Centre for Ageing Studies Universitas Indonesia (CAS UI). She was awarded as An Honorary Visiting Research Fellow, Oxford Institute of Population Ageing, University of Oxford 2011-2014, and a Consultant for Ageing Programmes to Indonesian Government and Private sectors, since 2011. She has also been a Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Respati Yogyakarta since 2011 to 2014, and recently being a Rector of University of Respati Indonesia. She has been supervising PhD students in Gerontology/ ageing issues at universities in Indonesia and Loughborough University (UK), since 2000 . She is a member of Board of Active Ageing Consortium Asia Pacific since 2009; Temporary Advisor to WHO SEARO in 2013 ; Technical Advisor for Healthy Ageing Strategy to WHO in 2015; and Member of Steering Board of APRU Population Ageing Research Hub, since 2014. She was also a member of National Commission for Older Persons (NCOP) Indonesia 2005 – 2011, and recently being active as national consultant on LTC for the older persons. Her current research interests include the fields of:, Ageing and Dementia, Age Friendly Communities and Cities, Long Term Care and Quality of life of older persons.
Prof Jean Woo
Professor Emeritus, The Chinese University of Hong Kong
Jean Woo is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Medicine and Therapeutics at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). She also is Henry G Leong Research Professor of Gerontology and Geriatrics and Hon. Consultant Geriatrician with the Hospital Authority of Hong Kong. She is the founding director of the CUHK Jockey Club Institute of Ageing, started in 2014. Her research interests include chronic diseases affecting elderly people, health services research, nutrition epidemiology, and quality of life issues at the end of life, with over 700 articles in peer-reviewed indexed journals.

Professor Daniel Lai is Chair Professor and Head of the Department of Applied Social Sciences, and Director of the Institute of Active Ageing at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is an internationally renowned researcher with expertise in health and aging, innovation and aging, and diversity issues in aging population.
