The 5th Golden Age Expo & Summit
Postponed to August 7-9, 2020
Due to the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak in Hong Kong, which has disrupted global business and our daily life, Golden Age Foundation has made the difficult decision to postpone the 5th Golden Age Expo & Summit to August 7 - 9, 2020 (Friday to Sunday) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, to ensure the health and safety of our guests, speakers, exhibitors and visitors to the event. This event was originally scheduled to be held in late March.
Since mid-2019, we have been facing unprecedented challenges, including political unrest, societal disputes, and now the epidemic which has kept people away from each other with the containment measures. The move to August will fill in the much-awaited longing of different sectors to gather together, discuss and reframe innovative solutions and new pathways to the future of our smart ageing city. It will also be a timely event to revitalise the economy with new products and services in the pipeline. As in the past, the Golden Age Expo & Summit will again be the best platform for people of different age groups to connect and collaborate with the golden generation, enhancing cohesion across generations.
We sincerely thank all the invited guests for having agreed to honor the event with their presence, and all the exhibitors, sponsors, partners, supporting organisations and media friends for their support of the event, and would like to express the deepest apologies for any inconvenience caused by the postponement of the event.
We look forward to seeing you all from August 7-9 at GAES 2020.
About Golden Age Expo & Summit 2020:
With the theme of “Smart Ageing for Tomorrow”, the 5th Golden Age Expo & Summit is specially catered for the Golden Age population (people aged 45+, retirees and seniors), empowering them to live a positive and healthy life, and assembling people from all sectors to co-create “Smart Ageing Cities” in the coming decade.
- Golden Age Expo
The Expo will assemble over 100 booths to showcase thousands of innovative products, technology and services from around the world, including smart home products, health products, medical and rehabilitation equipment, innovative technology, continuing education, insurance and financial planning, entertainment and lifestyle products, life and death education and social services, etc.
- Golden Age Summit
The Summit will pool together over 50 renowned speakers from local and overseas, to exchange best practices and insights on numbers of issues in Smart Aging Cities. Topics will cover business, finance, healthcare, work and retirement, wealth planning, town planning, intergenerational education, etc. Moreover, there will also be various health talks and performances throughout the three-day event. It is annual event you cannot miss!
