Abstract: At this forum, CEOs and prominent leaders across sectors will share their vision and insights for powering up the smart ageing transformation. Abstract: Technology has become an indispensable part of smart ageing. Yet, older adults are the least adept with technology. There are a lot of missing links in the entire ecosystem. Technological advancement requires the dedication and collaboration of different links in the ecosystem including the public sector, private corporates, and investors. Leaders in these fields will share how they play a critical role in developing a collaborative ecosystem that may enhance innovative smart ageing technology.
Abstract: Nearly 90% of seniors want to stay in their own homes and communities as they age. How can we develop communities that promote life satisfaction, a positive quality of life, and self-esteem for people of all ages? Unlike the traditional concept of elderly residence, smart ageing recommends an inclusive and supportive community that caters for needs across all ages. In this session, we will explore how to build intergenerational communities from the perspectives of community planning, architectural design, and interior fittings.

Abstract: The cramped living space and long wait for residential care homes in Hong Kong have led more seniors to consider living in other cities, notably in the Greater Bay Area (GBA). Yet more updated information on the living conditions, medical and financial planning, policy support, etc., needs to be made available for the elderly and their families to decide with confidence. Experts on elderly care in the GBA will share their insights on cross-border collaborations between Hong Kong and the Mainland and their corporate strategies in developing the elderly market. The latest Government policy developments for fostering closer collaboration within the GBA on the golden age economy, talent, capital, and standardization will also be discussed.

Abstract: Eating well contributes greatly to the quality of ageing. Yet many golden agers have diet restrictions or health conditions that make that challenging. Corporates, NGOs, and academia have all put great efforts into elevating the golden age dining experience, transforming the look and feel, taste and texture, and services for the betterment of the daily lives of older adults.
Abstract: The elderly industry is currently seeing significant growth. A sustainable talent pipeline is at the core of the strategic development of our society. Due to the ageing population, the demand for talents in the elderly care industry and other sectors is stronger than ever. In this session, speakers will explore how we can attract younger workers to join the elderly care industry and tap the potential of younger seniors to serve other older adults.
Abstract: The 21st century challenges older people to invent this new world of ageing with purpose.
